Again, due to the abdominal excursion, an ideal IVC cannot be imaged. However, the limited images showed that the IVC was not exhibiting any collapsibility or variability despite major intra-thoracic and intra-abdominal pressure excursions. This suggested that the intra-IVC pressure was high.
